History of the Trust

The Trust was originally established in September 2016 when Alvechurch Church of England Middle School became a Single Academy Trust.  From 1st September 2025, it expanded to include a further four schools plus a specialist College, and so our full complement of schools now comprise:

• Alvechurch Church of England Middle School
• Chadsgrove Special School
• Fairfield First School
• Stoke Prior First School
• Meadows First School
• Chadsgrove Educational Trust Specialist College

Today we are known as the Aequalis Education Trust, a multi-academy trust (MAT) located in North Worcestershire.
